Customers who own or plan to purchase a U.S. motorcycle (1HD)
To ensure country-specific safety standards are met, Harley-Davidson has temporarily suspended the warranty on all bikes imported into countries they were not built for. The warranty will be re-instated when the vehicle is brought into compliance with that country's safety standards. In Canada, compliance includes a Canadian speedometer in kms/hr & on some models rear lighting modifications. An inspection and all necessary modifications must be performed and documented by an authorized Canadian Harley-Davidson Retailer. This applies to all imported Harley-Davidson motorcycles currently in Canada and all future imports. For further information please call your local Harley-Davidson Retailer.

"Mine was a complicated purchase due to " MURPHY'S LAW " Every-thing that could have delayed this delivery did happen... Money came 4 weeks late...Then came Insurance ($2221.oo Then there's a little thing called $2000.oo in fines from 1999-2000-2001. These guys are the best.
